The Outpatient Mental Health Professional provides therapeutic services to children, families adolescents and adults in the main clinic or other satellite settings. Using evidence based psychotherapeutic theories and practices, delivers individual, family and group therapy to clients and completes assessments on identified members in person or by telehealth if approved by OMHSAS. The Mental Health Professional has the ability to apply provides thorough and complete documentation in a manner necessary to meet established deadlines; and involves significant others in treatment process as deemed appropriate. The Outpatient Mental Health Professional must have a Master's degree and the ability to resolve crisis and conflict situations and develop positive relationships with clients. Funding for services provided by Outpatient Mental Health Professionals may come from billing private insurance companies or Medical Assistance or through contracts with the county.

A Teacher within a Transition Classroom provides instruction to all students enrolled in the program. Responsibilities include preparation of academic materials, instruction in a classroom setting, and evaluation of student performance. The Teacher utilizes specific district curriculum and adapts content to provide instruction to multiple grades.
This position is located within Conewago Valley School District supporting secondary education students.

The goals of the Behavioral Health Technician are to implement the Individualized Treatment Plan providing intensive, individualized interventions to the child, youth, or young adult experiencing serious emotional, developmental, or behavioral needs in order to prevent more restrictive placements or services. The BHT documents client behavior and implements the psychosocial rehabilitative interventions as specified in the client's treatment plan. Services are provided in a variety of settings, including, but not limited to home, community, school, or activity center. The BHT should have the ability to resolve crisis and conflict situations and develop positive relationships with clients.

The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Professional is expected to perform their duties to support the goals and objectives of Laurel Life in its efforts to provide quality service and patient satisfaction. The Advanced Practice Professional will provide primary psychiatric assessment and care to clients of the organization including making diagnoses, determining course of treatment, providing appropriate treatment and treatment planning, completing vitals, prescribing medications, reviewing/approving prior authorizations, reviewing lab work, monitoring blood levels, and documenting patient files.
The goals of the Behavior Consultant-ABA are to provide clinical direction of services to the child, youth or young adult; along with developing and monitoring the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP). The Behavior Consultant-ABA applies their specialized knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis to assess the individual's behaviors, design a behavioral intervention program, and monitor the implementation of non-aversive behavioral change methods. Behavior Consultants collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data from treatment team members and adjust treatment goals accordingly to promote progress. The Behavior Consultant-ABA will also lead the treatment team and will strive to develop collaboration among all treatment team members.

Behavior Consultant-ABA will address specific needs of the individual and family in a manner that encourages child and family autonomy so that services can be effectively reduced and discontinued when the individual's behavior improves and stabilizes. Our goals are to integrate the individual into the community as well as equip the family with the necessary skills to maintain improvements demonstrated by the individual while receiving services. Laurel Life staff will strive to establish collaboration within the family, promote a family's ability to function as a cohesive, independent whole, and improve the quality of the family and individual relationships.
