Summary

The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for creating and executing marketing initiatives to enhance Folium brand awareness, engage the community, and support the organization's outreach efforts. This position will focus on content creation, digital marketing, and public engagement, with some outsourcing to external resources as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

?  Brand & Content Strategy

    • Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
    • Assist in establishing brand guidelines and style guides for marketing materials.
  • Website, Email, Newsletter & Social Media Management
    • Oversee website updates, content creation, and SEO optimization.
    • Create and schedule routine email campaigns for contact maintenance and relationship-building.
    • Create and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) to engage with key audiences.
  • Community & Event Marketing
    • Support local outreach efforts to connect with schools, community groups, and healthcare professionals.
    • Identify events for participation and digital promotions to boost awareness.
  • Reputation & Public Relations
    • Monitor online reviews and social media inquiries. Collaborate with leadership on response plan.
    • Assist in press releases and media outreach to increase visibility.
  • Advertising & Data Analytics
    • Manage advertising efforts, including Google Ads, social media promotions, and local partnerships.
    • Track and report on marketing analytics to evaluate effectiveness.

?  Maintain an active valid driver's license issued by state in which they reside and must immediately notify their supervisor or Human Resources if their license is suspended or revoked for any reason.

?  May perform other duties, activities, or special projects as requested by Executive Leadership Team.

Work Agreement Requirements:

?  A full day for a salaried position is a minimum of 7.5 hours per day. Start and end times for the employee may vary. 

?  Employees are expected to comply with all conditions and requirements of the Employee Handbook and any amendments thereto shall remain in effect.

Educational Qualifications:

?  Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

Work Experience:

?  3 years of experience in marketing, with nonprofit, education, or mental health organizations preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong skills in content creation, digital marketing, and social media management
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, and social media engagement tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, with some outsourced support when needed
  • Independent and intrinsically motivated
  • Excellent use of written and verbal communication

Working Conditions:

?  Work settings may include office buildings, program/community locations and school districts.  

?  Occasional travel required to meet organization needs to build relationships and engagement with staff.

?  Following the completion of mandatory orientation requirements and an assessment of program needs, this position offers a hybrid work arrangement. The role combines remote and on-site responsibilities, with the flexibility to work from home on designated days and attend in-person meetings, trainings, or collaborative sessions as determined by program objectives and team requirements. The hybrid schedule will be established in coordination with the supervisor to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational needs
