We are currently seeking a PA Certified Elementary Teacher (PK-4, K-6) in the Waynesboro Area School District - Fairview Elementary K-2 Transition Classroom. The selected candidate will become part of a team including a therapist, transition coordinator and in-class behavior coach. Small class size with a maximum of 8 students.

Responsibilities include:

· Preparation of academic materials based on district curriculum

· Individualized and group instruction

· Evaluation of student performance

· Team based student interventions

· Participate in staff meetings, district meetings and parent communication

Requirements:

· A four-year degree from a college or university and a valid PA Elementary Teaching Certificate (Pre K-4, K-6) or PK-4 Teacher Intern Cert

· Attention to detail

· Positive, strong classroom management
