Summary:
The Team Leader is a first-level leadership position typically combined with position that requires completion of billable time. The Team Leader organizes assignments for staff, resolves crisis and conflict situations, and develops positive relationships with staff and customers. The Team Leader holds primary responsibility for supervising team members, collaborating with customers, and supporting the Supervisor in directing program operations. The Team Leader coordinates program operations with the needs of other systems.
The Team Leader position in IBHS engages in complementary leadership practices with the IBHS Supervisor. This role will include assisting with day-to-day operational leadership duties for all IBHS staff The Team Leader will act as a point of contact and provide support to staff, review notes, and focus on continuous quality improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
An IBHS Team Leader should be prepared to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
? Maintain billable time within IBHS ABA program. As required by regulations and treatment needs, complete file documentation and individualized treatment plans with each client and family that includes counseling and behavioral objectives and goals.
? In collaboration with the Supervisor, provide administrative leadership to the team, and supports staff in maintaining compliance with agency requirements.
a. Manages staff, including developing schedules and approving timesheets, performance coaching as needed.
b. Coordinates staff activities and assignments; clarifies roles and responsibilities; ensures completion of all team assignments and tasks; Seek answers or problem-solve as necessary.
c. Provide administrative support.
? Reviews and approves payroll in E3, review time entered against member progress notes submitted. Complete tracker associated with staff billable time.
? Monitor, track and submit Care Coordination requests for members.
? Monitor and submit member authorization documents, including new/re-newels, updates and discharge summaries.
? Operational duties such as review of progress notes and encounter forms. Complete monthly internal audits and address quality improvement plans.
? Collaborate with school and community program officials when needed to coordinate IBHS within school and community settings.
? Acts as a liaison for the program. Works collaboratively and develops cooperative relationships with school districts, community and referring agencies; performs marketing and public relations activities;
? Understands, communicates, and reinforces the organization's core values and mission, and assists the organization in striving to achieve its vision, mission and goals.

Educational Qualifications:
Qualifications must meet one of the following:
1. Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have a completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
2. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved by the PA Department of Human Services or Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Working Conditions:
General office setting within the IBHS Office is the current base of operations for this position. When completing billable time, work setting may be a school, home, or community location. Clientele may at times be verbally or physically abusive.
Skills:
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop effective and meaningful relationships with clients. Must be able to remain calm in a crisis situation, identify underlying causes of problem situations, resolve conflicts, and de-escalate potentially explosive situations. Must be a team player.
